This show will teach you exactly how to create and live the life of your dreams full of abundance. My name is Michelle Weinstein, also known as The Pitch Queen.
You might be wondering what Michelle is all about and why she is hosting a podcast called The Abundant Accountant Show. I’m a time-tested entrepreneur and Founder of The Pitch Queen brand. In my years of sales experience, I’ve worked with multiple CEOs at billion-dollar companies. I’ve had a few other companies before, and most recently, my last company got into Costco and Vitamin Shoppe. I’ve pitched my way onto Shark Tank and sold everything from mortgages and paleo meatballs to multimillion-dollar homes. My formula is one and the same, and it’s pretty simple.
It’s own your value and worth, share your gifts with the world, and create a foundation for success by establishing genuine and long-lasting business relationships. My mission is to help each and every one of you in the accounting field not only sell your higher value services to your clients without ever having to feel like you have to sell a day in your life, but show your clients how to conversate with them, how to have yourself, have empowered conversations, own your value and worth, and skyrocket your firm top-line revenue, and also help your clients see your value without ever having to sell.
Share your gifts with the world and create a foundation for success by really establishing genuine and long lasting business relationships. Click To TweetMy journey started at an accounting firm called Moss Adams, which I’m sure most of you are familiar with. I have a Degree in Finance, and I was a Financial Analyst in their M&A group for about three years. I knew that the corporate gig wasn’t for me, so I was looking for alternatives from the cubicle life. I found my love for customer service and helping people, which all relate to sales. I quit my financial analyst job. I took a job in the real estate department in mortgages and was doing that for quite a while on my own. That’s where my inner entrepreneur emerged in full force. Over the next few years, I did do real estate and mortgages for quite a while.
My entrepreneurial life started taking a toll on my health, which I’m sure a lot of you have experienced too, where we work way too much, and we’re not that satisfied, especially during tax season. I know some of you are working 60, 70, or 80 hours a week, and it does take a toll on your health. For me, I was skipping the gym and living on fast food and burrito shops. I am not from San Diego, but I live in San Diego, and I knew that wasn’t an option anymore. I saw a need in the market to fill that. I said, “I could make healthy eating simple, easy, and convenient,” so I took this radical leap a few years ago and started a food company.
Just so you know, I did not have any experience in food manufacturing. However, my passion did land in the health and nutrition area, so I knew I would figure things out. My last company was born. What I lacked in experience, I made up for with my persistence. My persistence got me into, as I mentioned earlier, retail stores, several contracts with local businesses, and pitching in front of a panel of investors, which I’m sure a few of you are familiar with, the sharks of Shark Tank. I never got a deal on Shark Tank. I was brutally rejected.
At the same time, that experience set me up for a lot of big wins that I’ve had. It was all related to pitching products, sales-related activities, working with Costco and Vitamin Shoppe, and working with Major League baseball teams. I have worked with coaches and the NFL and the NBA. My last company came to an end in about March of 2017. I was at a crossroads again. Just like the time before, what looked like a failure was a stepping stone to my latest adventure. I analyzed the demise of my company. What I realized is that every single successful person who’s living a life of abundance has many stories of failure to tell.

The Abundant Accountant Podcast: Every single successful person who’s living the life of abundance has many stories of failure to tell.
It sparked a new idea for me. I said, “What if we talk about the real things?” I started working with one of my friends who works with many accountants, and I realized there was a gap in owning your value and worth and taking your firm to a whole other level. It turned out that my biggest failure has led me now to my biggest why. My passion is helping you sell higher value services, own your value, remember your worth at all times, and embrace the selling process with confidence and that you might love it. I am living proof that if you stay in the game, success is inevitable in each of our lives.
If you stay in the game, you can live a life of abundance and have that firm of clients who value you for every single aspect that you bring to the table.
